Privacy
We have created this privacy policy (first version 01.08.2020, updated 01.01.2026)
to explain to you, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, what information we collect, how we use data, and what choices you have as a visitor to this website.
Unfortunately, it is in the nature of things that these statements sound very technical,
but we have tried to describe the most important things as simply and clearly as possible.
Automatic Data Storage
When you visit websites nowadays, certain information is automatically created and stored,
including on this website.
When you visit our website, just as you are doing right now,
our web server (the computer on which this website is stored) automatically stores data such as:
- the address (URL) of the accessed webpage
- browser and browser version
- the operating system used
- the address (URL) of the previously visited page (referrer URL)
- the hostname and IP address of the device from which access is made
- date and time
in files (web server log files).
Web server log files are usually stored for two weeks and then automatically deleted.
We do not share this data, but we cannot exclude that this data may be reviewed in the event of illegal behavior.
Cookies – Tracking-Cookie-free
🍪 Good News:
Our website uses no tracking cookies.
You do not have to accept any cookie banner on the site and can visit our site completely undisturbed.
Your privacy is important to us.
We only use cookies for technical purposes in the webshop and in the article editor.
These store, for example, the shopping cart content with maximum anonymity. We ask for separate permission here.
For easier recognition, our website displays a small banner in the bottom corner showing the current cookie status.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser by websites.
Well-known browsers include Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge.
Most websites use cookies to store user-specific data.
HTTP cookies are small files that are automatically placed in your browser's cookie folder.
A cookie consists of a name and a value. Cookies can store various user data,
such as language, personal page settings, login status, or tracking information.
Why doesn't VP-Creativ use cookies?
Privacy comes first.
We have consciously decided against the use of tracking cookies to protect your privacy.
Our website works completely without tracking, without analytics tools, and without advertising cookies.
This means for you:
- No storage of your browsing behavior
- No sharing of your data with third parties
- No tracking scripts from Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel & Co.
- Complete privacy when visiting our website
How does the website work without cookies?
Our website is intentionally designed to be simple and privacy-friendly.
All necessary functions – contact form, navigation, image galleries – work without cookies.
We rely on:
- Local fonts – No connection to Google Fonts
- No external tracking services – No analytics, no advertising
- Server-based functions – Contact form without cookie storage
- Local images and resources – Fast and privacy-compliant
What about third-party cookies?
Third-party cookies (e.g., from Google, Facebook, or other external services) are also
not used on our website. There are no embedded tracking scripts,
no social media plugins, and no external advertising networks.
Note: If you click on external links on our website
(e.g., links to social media or partner websites), the respective privacy policies of the
linked pages apply. We have no control over this.
Cookie Guidelines and Privacy
Since 2009, there have been so-called "cookie guidelines".
These state that storing cookies requires your consent.
In Austria, this directive was implemented in § 96 para. 3 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG).
If you want to learn more about cookies and their technical functionality, we recommend
RFC 6265
, the technical specification of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) on the topic
"HTTP State Management Mechanism".
Storage of Personal Data
Personal data that you submit to us electronically on this website,
such as name, email address, address, or other personal information
as part of submitting a form or blog comments, are used by us
together with the time and IP address only for the stated purpose,
securely stored, and not shared with third parties.
We therefore only use your personal data for communication with you,
for those who explicitly wish to be contacted, and for the processing of
services and products offered on this website. We do not share your personal data without consent,
but we cannot exclude that this data may be reviewed in the event of illegal behavior.
If you send us personal data by email – thus outside of this website – we cannot
guarantee secure transmission and protection of your data. We recommend
never transmitting confidential data unencrypted via email.
Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation
According to the provisions of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act
(DSG), you are fundamentally entitled to the following rights:
- Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Article 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Right to notification – notification obligation in connection with the
rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of
processing (Article 19 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)
- Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing —
including profiling (Article 22 GDPR)
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law
or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way,
you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Austria is the Data Protection Authority,
whose website you can find at
https://www.dsb.gv.at/
.
TLS Encryption with https
We use https to transmit data securely on the internet (data protection through
technology design Article 25 paragraph 1 GDPR). By using TLS (Transport
Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the
internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognize the
use of this data transmission security by the small lock symbol in the top left
of the browser and the use of the https scheme (instead of http) as part of our internet address.
Google Fonts Local Privacy Policy
On our website, we use Google Fonts from Google Inc. For the European
region, the company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4,
Ireland) is responsible. We have integrated the Google fonts locally, i.e., on our web server –
not on Google's servers. This means there is no connection to
Google servers and thus no data transmission or storage.
What are Google Fonts?
Google Fonts used to be called Google Web Fonts. It is an
interactive directory with over 800 fonts that Google provides for free.
With Google Fonts, you could use fonts without uploading them to your own server.
However, to prevent any information transfer to Google servers in this regard,
we have downloaded the fonts to our server. In this way, we act
in compliance with data protection and do not send any data to Google Fonts.
Unlike other web fonts, Google allows us unrestricted access to all fonts.
We can therefore access an unlimited sea of fonts and thus get the optimum
for our website. You can find more about Google Fonts and other questions at
https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq?tid=121291260
